Trainers Training at The EFT Centre
At The EFT Centre we are committed to training EFT trainers to the highest standard and to providing full and ongoing support to those trained under our banner. We believe that our trainers represent the most highly skilled EFTers in the UK.
In order to qualify for our training scheme, and to satisfy the AAMET trainer guidelines, it is necessary to meet the requirements below.

Requirements for admission
to an AAMET Trainers Training
All applicants for an AAMET Trainers Training need to meet the following requirements, to be sent to a virtual secretary. Fee £50

Only when these requirements have been satisfied will candidates be put through to the trainer programme with their trainer of choice:
Full Level 3 certification for min one year
2 x client references
Copy of insurance certificates for past 3 years
Confirmation of min 200 client sessions
2 x case histories (as per AAMET example)
Reference from trainer
Copies of Level 2 and 3 certification
Evidence of group experience using Borrowing Benefits or Tearless Trauma (supply name, number and email of 2 attendees who are happy to be contacted for feedback should we decide to do so)
Proof of experience and/or qualification in the teaching of adult students preferably in a healing art
Attend Level 1 and Level 2 AAMET practitioner trainings with selected Trainers Trainer, with written report of suitability for TT. Fee negotiable at Trainer's discretion. The Trainers have the right to refuse the application, and to defer the decision to the TT.
Evidence of supervision with AAMET certified trainer, email and phone no of AAMET supervisor
List of cpd points obtained in last year
Training
Candidates must attend an initial one day trainers workshop with an AAMET approved and certificated trainer of trainers.
They will be expected to be very familiar with all Gary Craig's DVD sets (9 sets) and his manuals.
They will be expected to abide by the AAMET's Code of Ethics
Training to include
Examples of course schedules
Provision of a trainers DVD to use in conjunction with their trainings if they wish
Demonstration of practical skills
Demonstration of knowledge base
Demonstration in front of a group
Requirements for existing AMT Trainers wanting to join AAMET
The AAMET welcomes AMT Trainers but due to the difference in syllabus between the two bodies the following are required for Trainer certification:
Attendance of an AAMET Level 3 training. Certification to be submitted to the virtual secretary as above.
Attend Level 1 and Level 2 AAMET practitioner trainings run by qualified trainers, as an assistant with written report of suitability for TT
2 x client references
Copy of insurance certificates for past 3 years
Confirmation of min 200 client sessions
Reference from trainer
Copies of AMT certification
Evidence of group experience using Borrowing Benefits or Tearless Trauma (supply name, number and email of 2 attendees who are happy to be contacted for feedback should we decide to do so)
Proof of experience and/or qualification in the teaching of adult students preferably in a healing art
Evidence of supervision (dates, with whom etc)

Requirements for existing AAMET Level 2 trainers currently not holding Level 3 certification
All AAMET trainers are now required to hold Level 3 certification, but can continue to train whilst completing it
This will take effect from 1st January 2009
Training Conditions
Trainers are required to commit to quarterly training supervision sessions, to be agreed with their Trainer. Confirmation of this to be sent to the VS annually
In the event of complaint, or failure to comply with any of the above, the AAMET Training Triumvirate reserves the right to refuse certification. The Triumvirate's decision is final.
In special circumstances, agreed by at least two of the Training Triumvirate, the Triumvirate has the right to waive any of the above requirements if they believe it would be unreasonable or impractical to apply them fully. When they exempt from any requirements they may then apply any additional requirements that they feel to be reasonable.

We look for creativity and humour in our trainers, as well as the ability to lead by example and with integrity. We believe that our clients are our best learning tool and all our trainers are required to be working EFT practitioners.
