About the AAMET (Association for the Advancement of Meridian Energy Techniques)
Founded in 1999, The AAMET is a not-for-profit organisation run by volunteers and set up to promote ethical practice. It has set in place standards of training and safeguards for the public and has been accepted as a Voluntary Organisation (VO 0/400). All EFT Practitioners and Trainers registered on the AAMET website (www.aamet.org) have had their qualifications validated and have signed up to mandatory CPD & Mentoring, and to the AAMET Code of Conduct and Ethics.
Sue Beer and Emma Roberts have been members of the AAMET for over ten years, and enjoy a strong relationship with the core AAMET community. They have had roles on both the Training Committee and the Board of Ethics and take an active interest in supporting the organisation and adhering to its training curriculum and practitioner requirements.

All Level 1 Workshops take place on a Friday, followed by Level 2 on a Saturday and Sunday.
The EFT Centre Difference
The EFT Centre offers a structured training path for personal and professional development. As experienced therapists and trainers we understand that EFT works best when it is set within the context of sound therapeutic and communication skills – that is why we offer a full Diploma Training in Integrated Energy Techniques (IET) and include key elements of this to enhance your EFT training at Levels 1, 2 and 3. All our trainings are personally delivered by Sue Beer and Emma Roberts.
About EFT and IET (Integrated Energy Techniques)
EFT sits very comfortably within IET – you could say it has found its natural home. We are often asked what is the relationship between EFT and IET, and it’s something like the relationship of a wave to the ocean: IET is the powerhouse that allows EFT to really work.
Of course our trainings will give you an EFT qualification but as the pioneers of IET you will get quite a lot more from us - personally as well as professionally. And whether or not you progress to our Diploma training, our EFT training within the IET framework offers a special learning experience. You will be personally trained by The EFT Centre Founders, Sue Beer and Emma Roberts. We create a powerful and fun learning atmosphere enriched by the philosophy of IET. In brief, that means:

EFT Level 1 - Introductory Workshop
Level 1 is the foundation from which all EFT artistry evolves. Everyone starts at this Level, whether learning EFT for yourself or with a view to becoming a therapist, or adding to an existing therapeutic toolbox. At The EFT Centre we believe a thorough grounding in the basics of this technique are essential for each and every one of us, no matter what other experience or qualifications we bring to it.
This course teaches EFT from scratch. It is exciting, and often life-changing. Even if you are completely new to the 'therapy' world you will finish the day able and excited to use the technique for yourself, and on your friends and family, to resolve a wide variety of anxieties, problems and stress symptoms. If you are already a health practitioner you will have mastered the basics enough to get very significant results with clients straightaway.
Our Introductory Training is intended to be complete in its own right - so that even if you decide to go no further with formal training you will have gained a precious tool for life. However, we hope you may be inspired to take your learning further, and join us in reaching new levels of artistry. The basics of EFT are simple to learn and, we believe, ought to be available to everyone - gaining mastery and true expertise takes time, practice and commitment. As well as really good teaching.

EFT Level 2 - Practitioner Training/Ongoing Self-Development
Level 2 Practitioner Training is the next step towards excellence after attending the Level 1 introductory workshop. The 2 day training is open to anyone who has completed an AAMET Level 1 Workshop, whether interested in becoming a certified practitioner or wanting to learn more and further their self-development.
This is a 2 day training which goes from the basic mechanics of EFT into the beginnings of artistry. You will develop your confidence, intuition and creativity with these techniques. The EFT Centre aims to support you in striving for excellence, through developing your basic skills to a high standard. Topics include working with trauma, physical pain, phobias, aspects, and uncovering core issues.

EFT Level 3 - Advanced Practitioner Training
Our aim in teaching at this level is to develop a community of top level EFT professionals with the skills and personal qualities to have their work make a real impact in the world. This training is for serious students who are keen to keep learning and growing, personally and professionally. The training consists of a 2-day workshop, and Level 3 status is awarded when you submit acceptable case histories. You will then be responsible for maintaining your status through Mentoring and Continuing Professional Development.
We are passionate about teaching Level 3, and while the workshop is challenging this is where the fun really begins, personal breakthroughs often come, and true friendships are forged.

Mentoring Days
AAMET requires all Level 2 and 3 Practitioners who are seeing clients to commit to ongoing mentoring – 12 hours per year as a minimum for group sessions, or 6 hours minimum for individual sessions. One way to gain 6 hours is by joining one of our Mentoring Days. These sessions are open to any Level 2 or 3 Practitioner, whether or not you have trained with us.

NB: Once you have completed a level you are welcome to revisit it once for free at any point (4 people max per training so let us know early please if you plan to attend). We believe that each time you experience a training you learn something new and different despite the content seeming the same. We find that our students benefit enormously by this opportunity and it is something we very much encourage and welcome as part of our commitment to your learning. If you want to return more than one time we offer further repeats at a 50% reduction of the full course fee.
